Benjamin: AA's Upgrade List can be long, especially at Hubs or on popular routes. I think the longest I've seen is 50 or so. I'm luckily, normally at the top or the top 3. It goes off of status level, then LP point accrual over the last rolling 12 months. I had a BUNCH of LP's last year, less this year. I'm sure I'll fall off soon. Lots of small businesses throwing ALL SPEND onto AA cards. I've met people with Millions of LP's.
ATL Friend: price first class from ATL, reasonable connection is fine if there is a decent price difference on another airline, Delta loyalty costs too much
A Delta employee thinks the airport lounges should keep expanding to meet demand, is that viable?
