My latest guest on the podcast was Graham Richards, a Wolves fan since 1990. He recalls his first game in November of that year when disappointingly for him Steve Bull didn't score!

We also hear about his favourite players and managers and there is a slightly different take on players he has met. 

He also shares his views on the current Wolves side.

My first guest on the podcast for 2025 was Liverpool fan Danny Baker. Although born in Lowestoft, Suffolk and now living in Norwich, Danny gets to Anfield fairly regularly and talks about his early memories of watching Liverpool which included the 'Gerrard Final' from 2006.

Danny spent a lot of time watching the great Liverpool sides from the 70s and 80s (via DVDs!) and is now enjoying the current regime which includes two of his all time favourite players (Salah and Van Dijk).

My latest guest on the podcast was Mike O'Sullivan. Mike was born in Willesden Green in North West London and has supported Chelsea since 1963. 

Mike recalls some of his favourite players in 60 years of following Chelsea as well as discussing some of the mavericks who appeared for the club. He also discusses the lean years following Chelsea in the 70's and 80s. There is also a nod to ex-chairman, Ken Bates, still going strong at 92!

He continues to get to Stamford Bridge five or six times a year as well as watching games on TV and following the clubs fortunes via the Straight Outta Cobham podcast.

My latest guest on the podcast was Robbie Stelling. Robbie grew up on the South Coast but has supported 'Pools' all his life. 

Robbie now works for the Hartlepool Mail as a football journalist so has the perfect role to keep up to date with developments at the club. 

We hear about his favourite memories, players and managers as well as some great stories and the fancy dress away day tradition which Hartlepool fans started many years ago. Plus Dave Challinor (the cat and manager) and a rowdy parent!

Shortly after the episode was recorded, Darren Sarll was dismissed as manager with the evergreen Lennie Lawrence now at the helm. We wish Hartlepool well in their quest to return to the Football League.

My latest guest on the podcast was Gordon Simpson, a Manchester United fan who now resides in Norfolk. 

Gordon first went to Old Trafford in 1979 and was a season ticket holder in the 80s and 90s. 

From playing in the same team as the Neville's to meeting Bestie on holiday, there is plenty to enjoy in this episode!

As you would expect, Gordon has a view on the current managerial developments at Utd, but then again who doesn't!

This episode is a continuation from Episode 16.

Ivor takes us through the formation of AFC Wimbledon and their remarkable rise through the Combined Counties League into the Football League.

We skip the usual format to hear from Ivor about how the club was formed, the team names which were discussed, the trials on Wimbledon Common and the pitch invasion after the very first match versus Sutton!

We also hear about the play off final against Luton, a result which got the club into the Football League.

As you may know Wimbledon's ground suffered significant damage following flooding earlier in the week. Ivor talks about the parallels with the Newcastle tie (now moved to St James Park) and the Leeds FA Cup game referenced in Episode 1.

My latest guest on TLSP was Ivor Heller, a Wimbledon fan since 1972.

Ivor was a great guest and a hugely passionate fan. He recalls the days of Wimbledon in the Southern league and their meteoric rise through the Football league until they reached the First Division in 1986. 

In 1988, Wimbledon defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the FA Cup Final at Wembley, although as Ivor says this wasn't as big a shock as people suggested. 

A brilliant conversation littered with some great stories, and we are back for more in a few weeks!

My latest guest on TLSP was Mark Scales, a Norwich City fan since 1975.

Mark recalls some of his favourite players in the 50 years of following Norwich and his favourite games and memories. A regular at Carrow Road for many seasons, Mark also talks about his son's spell with the Norwich youth set up.

Mark also covers the current regime and his thoughts on the upcoming campaign. 

An honourable mention also for Dale 'Disco' Gordon, with whom Mark enjoyed many a drink with in Tipplers, Great Yarmouth after home matches!
