Michael "Mikey Scars" DiLeonardo was a Captain in the Gambino Crime Family, serving under major American Mafia Boss, John Gotti Sr. and John Gotti Jr. His family traces back to the origins of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra. His grandfather migrated to the United States in 1895 when the American Mafia's roots first began with The Black Hand. DiLeonardo was a close associate of Sammy the Bull Gravano, assuming control of all of his rackets after he cooperated with the government in 1991. He became one of the most respected members over the Gambino Family, helping John Gotti Jr. to run the family for his imprisoned father.
