If you live in Erie, Pennsylvania then you are no doubt familiar with the Watson-Curtze Mansion. This famous local landmark has been turned into a museum by the Erie Historical Society. It's perfectly preserved exhibits transport you to a completely different era in history. As you walk through the near infinite rooms you stumble upon an odd sight: a big, round cauldron next to an old wicker rocking chair. These two items are where this episode begins as we dive into the unbelievable tale of the "Mad General" Anthony Wayne and the journey of his bones. Wayne was a Revolutionary War hero that passed away at fort Presque Isle. He was laid to rest beneath the fort until his family decided they wanted his body buried in the family plot. The general was unearthed but his perfectly preserved body wasn't fit for transport. His body was boiled in that cauldron and the bones were taken back home. Does his ghost truly haunt the path back home, searching for his bones? Is this rattling cauldron the only haunt in the museum?
