Today we will talk about the real-life story of the most dangerous mafia boss - John Gotti. Gotti was born on October 27, 1940, in the South Bronx, New York. Gotti’s family was poor and they moved frequently before settling in East New York, known at the time for its gang activity. John Gotti was involved in the mafia family as early as a teenager, started off by doing errands for Carlo Gambino, the boss of the Gambino family which was the most powerful mafia family in the 1950s. It's when Carlo Gambino passed away that he was assigned as a high ranking member of the family and soon after became the Don.
