In this episode, we talk with Jean-Luc Sinclair, who teaches various subjects in the audio technology field at both Berklee College of Music and NYU. In our conversation, we extensively cover Jean-Luc’s story - how he discovered computers and music technology as a child, and how his experiences shaped him through his upbringing and career. We talk about the fundamentals of interactive audio - what makes it different than ‘linear’ audio, and what kinds of skills, training, and mindset one has to have to work in the interactive audio world. We also cover some of Jean-Luc’s teaching philosophy, and his philosophy on technology in general.
