Wow! What a wonderfully delightful book "The Magic of Burrows Bay" is that inspires hope, love & family! ... Ms Moulton has a magical way with words and descriptions that brings the story & characters to life! ... This grabbed on & held my interest from the start, kept me glued to my seat not wanting to stop, and then left me wanting more at the end! ... Amazing attention to detail provides visuals in living color, like watching a movie, only in my mind that made me wish I was there! ... Well-defined and relatable characters made me want to know more about them and the witty dialogue provided me with entertainment and some laugh out loud moments! ...Plus, I enjoyed the little mysterious happenings throughout; some unraveled and others not yet ;) that I'm sure will keep readers engaged & turning pages! ... I highly recommend this fresh & unique must read to all fans of fiction (though the plot could be possible ;) for readers of other genres, so this has a little something for everyone! ... Good read, I thorougly enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. It completely held my attention with a renewing of family ties and a balance of intrigue, romance, and magic!!!

A smooth flowing story line.

It starts with Maggie McCrae unhappy about not telling her two granddaughters about their magic. She ran out of time and passed away. The two granddaughters Moira Dunbar, and Gabriella McCrae have to hear the reading of the Will at Maggie's mansion. The two girls are willed the mansion, but they both have to live in the house for six months. The story goes through their adaptions to the house and meeting the people in the area. The girls find books that start mentioning things, and some of the neighbors start to mention about magic. The story was very well written, added a lot of description of area and people. Every so often I found myself laughing. When I turned the last page, I wanted more.

A heads-up to potential readers: Not a complete story

I borrowed this book during my Kindle Unlimited trial period because I had recently noticed that the editions of Magic of Burrows Bay 1 and 2 which I had obtained and reviewed some time ago had mysteriously become unavailable.

For the benefit of potential readers, I will repeat what I wrote then, because I compared the previous editions and this current one and determined they contained the same contents:

The writing is good and the story interesting, but -- and to me it's a big qualifier -- this is NOT a complete story, it's the first third, or perhaps half, of a story.
