In which a peculiar and crafty old wanderer named Ruggedo, once a king with a fondness for precious jewels, encounters the fellow traveller Kiki Aru, a boy with the remarkable ability to transform into various creatures, and together they hatch a cunning scheme to challenge the dominion of the Land of Oz.
