How often do we use the idea of God to make us feel comfort or validify a decision, when really... God had nothing to do with it. So often, without even realizing it we can use God to meet our needs without asking Him what we can do for him, or his purpose for us on this earth. We so easily become selfish in the idea that "if God wanted this to happen.." or "it must have been Gods will.." every time something happens instead of taking responsibility, or realizing if we knew God better, we may have avoided our bad situations with wisdom.
