The Magna Hoedown Showdown is a talent competition that takes place September 6th through 8th at Aurora's Ribfest in Aurora, Ontario. The 1st place winner of the Hoedown Showdown will receive $1000 in cash, a guitar of their choice from Yamaha worth $1000 AND a performance at the 25th Annual Magna Wild Wild West Hoedown on September 14th in Aurora. All proceeds go to various charities and non-profit organizations in York Region. This is an event that has in previous years featured performances by Country stars Paul Brandt, Emerson Drive, Aaron Lines, and many others! Entries for the Showdown must be received by July 31, 2013.
