The Magnificent Magnifying Lens

I am an early childhood eductor and find the book to be an excellent source for a science area in every preschool/kindergarten. The book uses a child to teach other children to use a magnifying lens and includes the authentic science words with an explanation given by the young girl character. The children can easily understand the concepts and meaning of words that scientists use daily. I find the book child friendly and promotes curiosity to use a magnifying lens. I also like the last section where the authors suggest activities parents could do with their children.
