Following the passing of Abraham, we know look to Abraham's son Isaac and Isaac's children. However, it's important to remember that none of these men are the main character of Scripture. The main character of the Bible is God! The whole book is about God and His plan of salvation. We see a great example of this in today's passage. While a lot is going on with Isaac and Rebekah and the future of their two sons, make no mistake, the main character in this passage is God.
