The Man Battlestations Podcast

Andy is joined by his friend Matt to discuss their first impressions of the latest edition of Dystopian Wars!

Andy is joined by Kelly, a returning guest and MBS Forum Member, to discuss the latest developments with Kings of War Armada. This is a fantasy naval combat game by Mantic Games, and has seen an impressive amount of support as well as some innovative distribution strategies!

Has anyone else noticed that there seems to be a lack of naval games on store shelves lately? Andy sure has! In this episode he digs into the issue and then looks at a few games that might end the drought.

Andy is back with an overview of a couple of gaming events he participated in earlier this year! First up is a local Star Wars Armada tournament he played in back in January 2024, followed by an event overview of the Richmond Open, a regional wargaming convention held in May 2024.

Well, it's finally happened. Atomic Mass Games has made an announcement that many of us were expecting for a while now: Support and Development for Star Wars Armada is officially coming to an end. Here is my reaction.

After a longer than expected break, Andy is back with another episode of the MBS Podcast! As is traditional, he is taking a look back at 2023 as well as looking foward to 2024.

For Episode 85, Andy is joined by a new co-host, Chris. Chris is Andy's local "partner in crime" when it comes to the game that is the focus of this episode: Star Wars Armada. After years of collecting but not playing, Andy has been playing a lot of Star Wars Armada over the last year, and a lot of those games have been with Chris! The two of them touch on the changes that have happened to the game and its support over the last few years, and prognosticate on the game's future.
