Back in the early 30s, the depression hit Mesa Arizona hard. An editor of the local newspaper, John McPhee, had an idea of how to save Christmas. But things didn’t turn out exactly as he had planned. Here’s a live performance Citrus Valley Playhouse performed this back in 2006.
