In Mark chapter 13 Jesus begins to forewarn his disciples about some of the events that will take place in the coming years. He explains that life will become quite uncomfortable and challenging for them. In the midst of these warnings, Jesus provides some words of encouragement and instruction for them in order to prepare them and ensure that they will be able to endure to the end. Jesus' words are powerful and just as relevant to today as we try to make sense of the world around us which seems to be spinning more out of control daily.
