Christ’s purpose of coming into the world is “to seek and to save that which was lost”. Believers are called for this same purpose. Our call to “occupy” until He comes means that our call to faithfulness is a long-term one, not just for a few months or years. Our call also is to be “the cold of snow in the time of harvest” that “refresheth the soul of his masters.” This ought to be the commitment of every true child of God. Any time we rise and go to preach the gospel, we refresh or gladden the heart of our Master especially when we are not deterred by challenges that want to hinder.
