The Nativity has baby Jesus peacefully sleeping in a manger. The whole scene seems warm and cute. Is there really anything cute about a baby sleeping in an animal’s feeding trough? If we are honest, the scene is pretty backward. This week we explore the upside-down and backward element of the manger.
