In this week's episode we go over The Manor House by Gilly MacMillon.

Set in a river town in Wales, England, we meet Nicole and learn how she and her husband had recently won the lottery, enabling them to buy a piece of land on a private peninsula. They remodel the property from the ground up in an ultra modern and technological fashion into what they call, “The Glass House”.

However, the luck and good fortune stops there in the first few pages as Nicole arrives home to the unnerving sound of Opera music blasting throughout the house’s speakers and no sign of her husband, Tom. Finally, once she gets to her bedroom balcony and stops to admire the view above her pool and vast property, she sees Tom, floating, face down in the pool.
