Whether you know a lot about investing or not, it is likely that you have a bunch of pre-conceived notions about investing. Some of these ideas are right, but you would be surprised how many of them miss the mark completely. I want us to identify places in our ideology that we have missed the boat and correct our expectations. I focus a large part of today’s episode on the fact that the market doesn’t care what you think you deserve, and the market is going to do what it does, regardless of your wishes. This is a hard pill to swallow, but the sooner you swallow it, the quicker we can get on with effective investing.
