The “Marriage of the Lamb” is one of the most profound and joy-filled prophetic events in all of Scripture. In Revelation 19:7–9 we read:
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” (NKJV)
This scene unfolds in heaven but points toward a climactic union between Christ (the Lamb) and His people (the Bride) that will impact heaven and earth.
To truly grasp the depth of this imagery, we must understand the ancient Jewish wedding customs that form its backdrop and the prophetic sequence Scripture reveals.
