recently i was scrolling on my instagram explore page and saw a post of a kid getting a cooking set for Christmas. you’ve probably all seen it, but anyway i look at the comments and all i see is people being very mean and hateful. comments like “ that kid is going to grow up to be gay”, or “stop giving boys girl toys for Christmas”. it really upset me because it’s a shame that people are talking about a literal child and being unrealistic. cooking is for everyone. this got me thinking about how everyone wants men and boys to fit into this masculine mold. in this episode i’m going to be talking about that, why it’s very toxic, and how i’ve avoided it, and how forcing boys into a masculine mold can fuck up a relationship and parenting. love you guys always.
