On Monday, nine people — three women and six children — were gunned down by suspected drug cartel members in northern Mexico. The incident has placed an international spotlight on the Mexican government’s struggle with cartels.
Host Tamara Khandaker talks to Gladys McCormick, an associate professor at Syracuse University, who specializes in Mexico organized crime, drug trafficking, political violence, and corruption.
