Spencer Berman is the owner and operator of Spencer’s Angling Adventures. You can find Spencer dominating the local tournament scene, teaching seminars at tackle shows around the Midwest and appearing on television shows, all while running a full-time guide service. Spencer’s guiding season starts on the Detroit River for walleye in mid to late March or as soon as ice off. From late April to the end of May, he transitions into smallmouth bass fishing. From late spring and early summer, until December, Spencer’s guide service strictly focuses on catching trophy muskies at Lake St. Clair. Currently, there are six captains working under the Spencer’s Angling Adventures umbrella. This year, they ran a total of 502 trips, landing 723 muskies.
