In this deeply personal episode, I share how my 2020 declaration,“I’ll See What I Say” was tested in ways I could have never imagined. Just months into a global pandemic, I encouraged others to stay anchored in God’s Word, believing “We’re Built for This.” But in December, at the height of COVID-19, my parents and I all contracted the virus. Within 30 days, they both transitioned to their eternal home 12 days and 19 hours apart.

This episode walks you through my journey of grief, faith, and resilience, anchored in love, prayer, power, and strength. Through worship, Scripture, and the help of the Holy Spirit, I discovered how to stand when everything in me wanted to fall apart. Welcome to the very first episode of The Master’s Peace. I’m your host, Fredia Rene, and today, I’m not coming to you with a polished testimony or a picture-perfect story. I’m starting at the real beginning of my grief journey… the moment my brother Kenneth passed away. And the journey begins.

What we thought was just a simple stomach ache and a fever turned out to be stage four colon cancer. Within ten days he was gone. And when he transitioned from this life to the next… everything in me shifted.
