Bill Casher is the Director of Laboratory Operations at Gilead Sciences where he oversees a team of 40 staff that maintain analytical instrumentation in labs that are working to discover, develop and deliver innovative therapeutics for people with life-threatening diseases. Bill is a California Bay Area native, born in San Francisco, CA and raised in a suburb just south of there. After finishing High School, he attended UC Santa Cruz where he studied Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and was an active member of the African American & Filipino Student community groups. He and his wife, Jessica, have three kids spanning elementary through high school and love the Bay Area for its diversity of culture. Bill is passionate about people, justice, continuous growth and being the change that he desires in the world.
