Here's the second episode of our January and February programming episodes!
Today’s guest is Kim Karr! After 13 years of teaching, Kim has transitioned from in class instruction and is a co-founder of the non-profit called #ICANHELP. Kim shows students and adults how to use technology and social media for good. Kim has presented the #ICANHELP program to over 450,000 students, and has been instrumental in taking down a thousand negative social media sites.
Joining Kim is ICANHELP’s lead intern, Malorie Born-A-z-in. She is a junior at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is working towards a degree in Journalism and Media Studies. We think this conversation is a great addition to our series on programs that can benefit schools around the nation.
