This month, the Strange Saturday Supershow is about the Maxx, the odd result of a man like Sam Kieth (Sandman) creating a superhero. When the Maxx isn't moving through a surrealist Outback dimension as King of the Jungle, he lives in a cardboard box in an alleyway (or on his social worker's couch) and grapples with problems far more dangerous than masked villains and clown themed crimes. 

Joseph and Katie dive into what is a surprisingly heartfelt collection of stories through volume one, and (spoiler alert) both are shocked by what they find.
