This is not a podcast about politics. I don't care much for politics. But what is difficult is when the issues in our society are highly politicized and highly relevant for Christianity. Gender is one of those topics, and it is insane that the White House, in a budget proposal, referred to Mothers as "Birthing People."

Our words convey meaning, and it is important that our words have a consistent meaning, and it is also important that we have biblical meaning for the words that we use. We need to understand what the word love means from a biblical perspective. We need to understand how the Bible uses the word mother or gender. And we certainly need to know how the Bible defines the word, Jesus. Let us use and understand biblical language so we can influence our society for righteousness.
