We are continuing on from past shows on Project Mockingbird, CIA and Culture Creation, Computational Propaganda and Data Mining. On this episode we use a “Hot Button” current event item to dissect how a compliant, purring and friendly media can be transformed into a wholesale retailer of a political agenda for better or worse. With no payoffs or threats or intelligence agency chicanery. Just by virtue of the biased medias kneeling supplication they can be converted into a culture creation, reality shaping weapon. We will also take a brief look at some of the unintended consequences of this specific example.
