But for as long as there have been vaccines, there have been those who were sceptical, and that sentiment has never really subsided.

In today’s episode we delve into the dual histories of vaccines and their detractors, separating fact from fiction, and considering how we can move through the impasse of the current vaccine critical discussion.

You tend to assume that when a new building goes up, the architects, and the construction teams have ensured that it’s safe.

You hope they’ve made sure it won’t topple over, collapse, shake, or pose a fire risk…. Yet that’s not always the case.

We left the story with the Hughes Glomar Explorer leaving its west coast staging grounds in search of the wreckage of a Soviet ballistic missile submarine.
