This short story is a sparkling gem. It contains all of the thoroughly researched historical detail and the finely drawn characters associated with this series. Dr. Tallis never fails to deliver an exciting yarn. Am eagerly waiting for his next book.
A Little Taste of Vienna
This short story is fun for those who have been following Tallis's turn of the century Vienna series of mysteries, but a first time reader should know that the books open a much richer world of intrigues, prejudices, psychoanalysis, pastries, music, love and good storytelling.

Having spent time in Vienna, I find the novels very interesting and fun to read.
