  1. Number 1: Confronting Some of the Best Arguments FOR the Enneagram

A while ago, I put out a post asking Christians for their arguments FOR the enneagram. I was grateful that so many were comfortable sharing their perspective, even though many would disagree. I asked my friend Alexa Cramer, who is with Mama Bear Apologetics, to come on and help address these arguments. Timestamps: 03:08: What is the Enneagram, the “True Self” vs. the “False Self,” why Richard Rohr is associated with the Enneagram, and the Origins. 15:50: Argument #1- There’s some hypocrisy here. Why do Christians condemn the Enneagram for its alleged occult roots but not chiropractic care, despite its founder’s spiritualist beliefs? 18:37: Argument #2- Intent matters. The Enneagram isn’t inherently wrong because of its origins, despite similar concerns being overlooked in wedding traditions. 20:52: We can redeem it. 22:37: It’s a personality test just like Myers Briggs. 26:13: The Enneagram is a Gospel tool. I’m a believer because of the Enneagram. 33:19: The Enneagram is a tool that highlights our need for God's grace and helps us align with the gospel, rather than encouraging sin. 35:38: The Ennegram is a communal tool that can be adapted as we please. 37:33: A random question I had for Alexa. 42:45: Richard Rohr is a heretic, sure, but the Enneagram is supported by reputable scientific studies. 46:35: It’s basically a psychology tool. It helps you understand who you are. If Christians go to therapists, then they are engaged in psychology. The Enneagram is no different on this level. 48:25: It’s no different than knowing your love language. 50:07: The Enneagram helped save my marriage. 52:31: Of all the personality tests, the Enneagram has helped me the most. It focuses on the internal. 01:06:24: Another question I have for Alexa 👉My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/ 💡Order Happy Lies: ● Barnes and Noble: https://tinyurl.com/h3yb2vmz ● Audible: https://tinyurl.com/4b8j88vp ● Christianbook: https://tinyurl.com/msvjxt2e ● Amazon: https://amzn.to/46XmuZO ●Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NewAgeToChristianity/ ●Instagram: @melissaldougherty ●Twitter: https://twitter.com/Meldougherty77 ●My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/

  2. Number 2: Can God Change? This Argument Says No... And It’s Powerful

I talked with seminary professor Dr. Brian Huffling about the nature of God. This is the best argument I've heard for why God cannot change or progress, and I hope it convinces you, too. This is the attribute of God called "Immutability." We also discuss what it means that God is separate from us, combating the New Age/New Thought belief of Oneness or Non-Duality. Not only does your belief about whether God changes have theological consequences, but it also has moral ones. A God who changes can't be God OR good. Timestamps: 00:00- Who is Dr. Huffling? 05:02- What is Monism and Non-Duality? 08:22- What is Pantheism vs. Panentheism? 14:15- What does it mean that God is “Pure Act”? 24:05- What are some attributes of God that fit this description? 30:03- What does “metaphysical” mean? 33:01- If God cannot change, then how did He “add” a human nature in Jesus? If God “became” a human, isn’t that a change? 39:52- What does it mean that God is “separate” from humanity? 47:18- Defining some scriptures in light of what we’ve discussed. 52:47- But… isn’t philosophy empty and “bad”? 👉My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/ 💡Order Happy Lies: ● Barnes and Noble: https://tinyurl.com/h3yb2vmz ● Audible: https://tinyurl.com/4b8j88vp ● Christianbook: https://tinyurl.com/msvjxt2e ● Amazon: https://amzn.to/46XmuZO Dr. Huffling's Info: Website: https://brianhuffling.com/ Dr. Huffling's Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@classicaltheology Southern Evangelical Seminary: https://ses.edu/people/dr-brian-huffling/ ●Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NewAgeToChristianity/ ●Instagram: @melissaldougherty ●Twitter: https://twitter.com/Meldougherty77 ●My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/

  3. Number 3: Christian Review of the #1 Best-Selling Self-Help Book of 2025

I wanted to read The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins and offer a Christian perspective on it. In this video, I’ll share what I agree with, what I disagree with, and how it all aligns (or doesn’t) with a biblical worldview. But as I’m learning, it’s never quite that simple. Much like my deep dive into Napoleon Hill, I ended up stumbling into some unexpected controversy with this book, even though that wasn’t my intention. Yet, here we are. I hope to give a fair assessment of this controversy. This isn’t a deep dive into Mel Robbins herself, just an honest Christian review of her latest book. I always aim to be as fair and thorough as necessary, which sometimes means the videos end up being a bit longer. It takes many hours of reading, note-taking, and preparation to put something like this together, but my goal is to give you the most accurate and thoughtful insight I can. I hope you find it helpful. Timestamps: 00:00- Who is Mel Robbins, and what to expect in this book review. 05:17- Chapter summary of “The Let Them Theory.” 20:46- What I liked/positives 33:37-What I disliked/concerns 52:13- The bigger CORE issue. 1:09:19- The Controversy 1:34:25- Conclusion 👉My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/ 💡Want to know more about this "New Thought" thing? 4. Number 4: The Controversial Origins of the Word of Faith Movement

Where did the Word of Faith movement (and its teachings) come from? I sit down with Dr. Robert Bowman Jr., whose book on the Word of Faith movement helped shape my own research for my chapter on the New Thought teachings infused in the Word of Faith movement. We discuss the tangled origins, its early teachers, and the controversial connection between E.W. Kenyon and Kenneth Hagin. I ask him about the influence of New Thought, particularly in areas like positive confession, prosperity, divine healing, and the belief in human divinity, and whether my conclusions hold up. 👉My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/ 💡Want to know more about this "New Thought" thing? 5. Number 5: She Thought Christianity Was a Joke—Until This Happened.

Laura was deep into the New Age for years—crystals, tarot, and talking to spirits. She genuinely thought she was on a path of light and love. She saw Christianity as outdated, something for people who just hadn’t “evolved” spiritually yet. But then everything changed one night when she had a terrifying dream that flipped her entire worldview upside down. She realized she was caught up in something far darker than she ever imagined. What followed was a journey she never expected. She also shares one of the most compelling explanations I've heard so far for why Christians shouldn't practice yoga. 👉My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/ ●Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NewAgeToChristianity/ ●Instagram: @melissaldougherty ●Twitter: https://twitter.com/Meldougherty77 ●My Website: https://www.melissadougherty.co/
