OVERVIEW:
This topic provides an in-depth knowledge into the experiences of Mentees who have engaged with their mentors, how easy or difficult it is/was to get one, what challenges this relationship has helped them overcome and a lot more. This is to guide other Mentees in accepting these positions and building/ maximizing relationships with their mentors.
HIGHLIGHTS:
In this episode, we chat about the following points: 1. Mentees are not only people you have physical encounters with. 2. They can be people you read about, whose thoughts and values align with your dreams and aspirations.
3. Parents and family members are usually the first mentors because of their good interest at heart.
4. It is possible for people to feel that they are sufficient and don't need a Mentor.
5. One slight encounter with someone who has the idea or knowledge on a specific subject matter is capable of taking a Mentee steps ahead of his/her peers.
