Amy Wilderspin is a nurse from Canada.  She volunteered with Mercy Ships as a pediatric nurse for eight weeks in Madagascar.  

In her fluffy pink dress and shiny shoes, 3-year-old Cecilia looked like a princess.

Our hospital ship is a floating international community representing over 40 countries. Rachel Fung is a physical therapist from Australia.

Dr. Patricia Sen was mentored in ophthalmic surgery onboard our hospital ship in Cameroon. Afterward, she went to an eye clinic that had been closed for almost 20 years because there wasn’t an eye specialist. 

Mariama is a beautiful 17-year-old girl in Senegal. But she didn’t think she was beautiful.

Dr. Afzali boarded our hospital ship in Senegal for two weeks of volunteer service. He’s a maxillofacial surgeon from the United States.
