The message of the prophet was one primarily speaking of the coming judgment for Israel's rebellion and idolatry. In the midst of these calls to judgment, one finds incredible promises from God that He will preserve and restore His people so that they will once again experience the blessings of His covenant with them. The greatest of these promises is bound up in the One who is to come as the Great Prophet who perfectly fulfills Deuteronomy 18-18-22.
