The work to be shared today is

“The Message of Spring”

Persephone is the god of spring in Greek mythology. The happier she is, the more the flowers of the earth bloom, and the more she is sad, the earth becomes barren.

This work is based on the spring god of classical Western stories, with the theme of the beautiful face of a woman and the various flowers. The curves of the natural flowers and plants are intricately intertwined, showing the vigorous vitality, and its beautiful shape wanders between the realism and the abstract. The goddess stands among the flourishing flowers with her eyes half-closed, just like enjoying the moment of spring, as if listening to the message brought by the spring breeze.

The difficulty of the work is that the complicated curves, layer upon layer, and different curling angles all increase the failure rate of firing in the kiln. More than a hundred modules, when entering the deconstruction of the plaster mold, it took the work team's painstaking effort. The finished product successfully showed the atmosphere of spring, and we seemed to be able to smell the scent of flowers in full bloom.
