In the book of Malachi, why does God invite his people to test him when it comes to tithing? This is the only part of the Bible where God encourages people to test him. Who is allowed to baptize people? In the Bible, we see many people baptized by figures who aren't just pastors. It is widely interpreted that when Jesus gave the Great Commission, he was speaking to everyone who follows him. He told his followers to go out, make disciples, and baptize others in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. For this reason, Pastor Adam and Steph believe that anyone with the authority to evangelize also has the authority to baptize.
