Matt has worked in the payroll systems field for 18 years, the majority of which has been spent in the public health space. He tells Greg how he has also previously played a part in a number of large SAP implementations and is currently overseeing the payroll, shared services, and outsourced teams for over 25,000 healthcare workers.  

 With recurring lockdowns taking place throughout the pandemic, the pressure on the public health sector was unparalleled. Matt talks us through how Melbourne Health coped, how companies can prioritise the mental health of their workforce, and that taking risks outside of your organisation may be the answer to career progression.
