The Mid-Year Check-In We All Need Right Now

Listen Later

Are you ready to step out of the deep, emotional waters of reflection and actually make some shifts?

In the latest episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy opens up about her mid-year review and the major realizations that are changing how she moves forward. It’s time to stop the struggle and start protecting your energy.

Tracy is laying down three new rules for life from this point forward:

1️⃣ No More Talking About the Past 🚫

Living in the same community you grew up in can be great, but rehashing middle school drama, track meets, or who the teacher’s favorite was over a beer? We’re over it. It’s time to connect with people who meet us exactly where we are right now, not who we were decades ago.

2️⃣ Zero Tolerance for Constant Complaining 🤫

We usually know exactly what we need to do—we just avoid taking action because it’s hard. If you hate your job, it’s time to pivot. If a relationship is draining you, make a change. Let’s stop letting the “energy vampires” pull us down and choose gratitude or action instead.

3️⃣ Carbs Bring Joy (And That’s Okay!) 🥐

Longevity is a great goal, but so is enjoying the moments. Tracy shares a beautiful story about a perfect morning by the lake with an exquisite griddled maple-cinnamon biscuit—and how a simple pleasure reconnected her to her core self. Spinach is great, but it doesn’t light up the soul the way a local bakery can!

The Big Takeaway: “If you are truly aligned with the right people and the right choices, life flows easily. Stop the struggle.”
