We're constantly dealing with ups and downs in life, and sometimes, we don't understand our own feelings and reactions to situations because we often overlook the underlying beliefs and experiences that currently shape our minds.

As life throws more and more situations at me, I'm realizing how much of how I feel towards things now as an adult is rooted in things that have happened in the past. Making these necessary connections has helped me understand myself better.

Some experiences, in particular, can fundamentally alter your core being. Growing up in an immigrant family that had to relearn how to live and survive in a whole new culture and adjust to a whole new world will change your perspective on life. For many people who have had this sort of major experience in their earlier lives, it can shape a significant part of our character. It's fascinating to see how it manifests itself later in life!

This is me reflecting and ruminating on my connection to my past self. I love the saying 'When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change' and life looks so different now that I'm looking through the right lens.

Are playing our own role or a character that we think we should be?If we don’t have an idea of who we are we will just shape-shift as needed, How do you ever attract anything that’s meant to be yours when you don’t even know who you are? Or what do you want?This life is too short to not be shamelessly yourself and to not share more of ourselves with people around us. Open hearts and open minds are the motto and I refuse to believe otherwise. You shouldn't either.

We get so tied up in our own story sometimes that we forget about all that matters more and if we take a moment to look past our own problems, we see that there's so much more.

When life hands us many lemons, we make lots of lemonade and share it with those around us, because when we take care and love others, we love ourselves more.

Really and truly it's selfish but it works every time. Give it a try.

One of those moments when you reflect on life and you finally realize why things worked out in the way they did. Nothing is a coincidence in this life and the pieces of the puzzle will eventually make a whole picture and it will be a picture that we will love. If we really want to, of course.

Boundaries help us navigate life in a safe space, in this episode, I talk about how I figured out my own limits and intentions while reflecting on the past few years and my journey of developing an understanding of my own boundaries.
