Here I was... healing... broken down and stripped of all the ways I no longer felt served by.. what a relief! But wait... now that I no longer have these titles, labels and beliefs... who am I? This is where I found myself about 3 months into my healing. I was off social media, moved to another city, and committed to becoming my own source of happiness and purpose. I finished breaking down and letting all the feelings and hurt out, and slowly adjusted to my new skin. It was like meeting myself for the first time and it was here that I came face to face with a harsh reality. Without my labels, conditioning and environment telling me who I should be... I had no idea who I truly was.
