Troy Metcalf was born on July 11, 1973 in Columbia, Missouri, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Middle (2009), Strangers with Candy (1999) and Dexter (2006).

Troy holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from South West Missouri State University and is a Graduate of New Actors Workshop where he studied under George Morrison, Mike Nichols and Paul Sills.

Troy runs the film company DEM Films with his creative partner Barry Curtis.
