CBS’s Lesley Stahl said that this whole Speakership battle was a nationwide embarrassment. How is that the case at all? The concessions that Kevin McCarthy had made will deliver much better results for the American people. The GOP holdouts that were opposing McCarthy have done something super positive for the American people. Also, Rep. Dan Crenshaw apologized for calling the GOP holdouts ‘terrorists’ on TV. Plus, Biden visited El Paso for the first time as President. The way that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott handled Joe Biden coming to the border was fantastic.
