The mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas has broken the hearts of all Americans. This horrific shooting took the lives of 19 children and 2 teachers. The suspected shooter is dead. What gun law would have prevented this disturbed evil young man from doing this? Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy literally begged Republicans to pass gun control laws on the Senate floor. The Left instinctively always pushes for gun control after shootings. Joe Biden’s speech after the shooting started out to be compassionate, but he quickly became partisan & pushed for new gun legislation.
