Mike shares how and why he got started covering the Houston and Texas media scene, beginning with his first days as a reporter and producer at media outlets KIAH 39, KTRK and KXXV; covering Hurricane Harvey for British news outlet ITV; the changing rules of media and technology; to his work as producer of the Rock 101 KLOL documentary. He also speaks candidly about his mom, who had been diagnosed  with Alzheimer's and how he continues to dedicate his time to the Alzheimer's Association to find a cure.
