We had to chase him for a while, but we finally got Mike Plantinga to join the show! What a journey Mike has had from moving to Toronto fro a summer to earn a nomination for Youth Worlds to leaving U of Alberta early to commit to beach full time. He has been grinding since he arrived in Toronto where he was a baker, server, coach and many other odd jobs just to keep his head above water. Great story and great guy to root for! Mike is a National Champion, Top 4 Finish at Pan Am, an proud owner of the Galaxy Volleyball Club. 

Mike is an amazing family man, and with that you can hear his recently turned 1 year old son in the background a few times. It is not our best audio to date, but who could be mad at the little guy and Mike gave an amazing interview. Thanks for your understanding and enjoy the show!
