Using Ignatian contemplation, we imagine ourselves in the Scripture passage Mark 8:22–26, journeying alongside the blind man of Bethsaida — touched once, then twice by Jesus as He gently restores the man's sight.

How is the Lord using this Scripture to speak to you?

• How do I respond when God’s timing feels slower that I’d like?

• What is Jesus trying to help me see more clearly – about Him, about myself or about others?

• What does this passage reveal about Jesus’ character? Think back to the quality you associated with Him at the beginning and think about other qualities and characteristics evident in the passage.

Encounter Jesus healing the sick in Gennesaret.

The boat touches the shoreline. People recognise it is Jesus at one. He is here!

Imagine yourself at the scene, are you a spectator, one of Jesus’ disciples, one of the people who brought the sick to Jesus, or one of those healed by Him?

Questions for journalling:

• When imagining Jesus, what does He look like?
• What the Lord has revealed to you during this prayer time...and how will you respond?

Engage the senses! Imagine you are with the disciples on the boat rowing to Bethsaida when winds begin to increase. You witness Jesus approaching you and the disciples in the boat as He walks on water. How do you feel?

Questions for journaling:

• What is Jesus saying to you today?
• What do you need Jesus' help with?
• What steps can you make to be His disciple on earth?

Within today's episode, we hear Jesus feeding the 5000 (Matthew 14:13-21).

Imagine yourself at a shore, witness Jesus feed 5000 people including yourself. Have a conversation with Jesus, what do you want to say to Him? What is He saying back to you?

Questions for journalling:

What is Jesus saying to you today?
