Jeanine Banza: Let's do it together. Yes, today is a beautiful day here in Dallas. God is good all the time. I am so delighted.
Jeanine Banza: to have a special guest here. How amazing how she was able to lead her generation
Jeanine Banza: through aspirational stories of
Jeanine Banza: perseverance, resilience. And faith. We all need confidence. And we all need people to inspire us on our faith journey.
Jeanine Banza: She juggles so well. I don't know how she does it during motherhood. She's the mother of 4 beautiful children.
She had them back to back while
Jeanine Banza: pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Jeanine Banza: and yet she successfully graduated. She's also a wife. and
Jeanine Banza: at the same time, she is a Youtube and Instagram. If user.
Jeanine Banza: she is a fashion mother.
Jeanine Banza: Yes, she advised me some time on how to put together my outfit and even my makeup.
Jeanine Banza: Her brand name is Lisa, officially Live.
Jeanine Banza: I have the privilege of welcoming Lisa
on our show today. Hey, Lisa, can you please tell me Hello, Hello! Can you tell our audience about you and what you do?
Lisa:Yeah. Sure. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for this opportunity to be, you know, on your podcast today, and this is something amazing that you're doing. And I pray that it will touch so many lives, and people will gravitate towards it and find something that will help them in their lives. So a little bit about me, I mean, this was a
Lisa:: a very great introduction. Amazing First and foremost, I am a believer. I love God, and I mean everything that I have. Everything that
Lisa:: you have mentioned to truly, truly, through God. I. Nothing of this would have been possible with that God so outweighed him. I am a mother, a wife, and most importantly, a child of God. Currently, I am a scrum master. I don't know if you know anything about that. It's pretty much just like product management.
Lisa:: And yeah, I'm really, you know, thriving in that. And one thing about me is I I to learn anything within it. Specifically, And so I'm just continuing that path of learning and, you know, just thriving in my field. So yeah, thank you again for having me.
Jeanine Banza: Wow, wow! That's a wonderful one wonderful. How do you think what you do will make an impact in or make this world a better place?
Lisa:: honestly, one thing as you mentioned, I'm an influencer, although I'm not very active on my influencing app. For kids, it can get very, very big, and life goes on. But
Lisa: One thing I always try to do is maybe share any Scriptures, anything that really comes to mind share, with the world because I feel like, even even though I have few people looking at me or looking at my post. if they could get something out of anything, you know, maybe log in and see something that's encouraging or draws them closer to God, that is fulfilling to me. That's what I feel like
Lisa:: could make the world a better place. If I could say so, that's one thing, at least. Just sharing the word of God, any chance I get? So yeah.
Jeanine Banza: yeah, amazing, amazing, amazing. And yeah, I had. I had something else to say. Here, I say, hey, you started on social media at a very young age, and yet you were too altogether in your teenage age, I believe. I know so many people want to be on social media, not only for bad things but it's really to share their vision. And you grow organically. And now you are empowering young people.
Jeanine Banza: with uplifting stories to make one believe. Yes, it's possible to grow your influence organically.
Jeanine Banza: while you, touching people, live with your message of hope, resilience, and joy. You educate people, you know. I watch. I watch. I used really seriously to watch your Youtube video.
Jeanine Banza: You spread a message of hope resonance and make people believe. Yes, it's possible. To leave this joy despite everything that is going on around uncertain times, job losses, people finishing college and Finding jobs and all living with Loans, debt and climate change, mental pressure, and so on.
Jeanine Banza: So so ha, ha! Ha! But for me, you did it all. You know you graduated from college.
Jeanine Banza: you got married. You got your four kids back to back.
Jeanine Banza: Your story is truly inspiring. What would you tell a young girl who is listening to this show today?
Jeanine Banza: Let's say she's stuck with shame, with guilt. Right? College loans. She probably didn't finish college, but she wants to return to college to finish.
Jeanine Banza: and she does not have decent jobs, she prayed, and she's still not seeing a difference, or she or what do you tell a single mom who is trying to make?
Jeanine Banza: And me, you know, I'll stop them. We annoy. This is to it a long question. So how do you? Till that's younger
Jeanine Banza: out there with listening?
Lisa: Sure, that is, that's a great question. Honestly, again.
Lisa: you know I will reference. God's name over and over again, just because, as I said, if I've made it this far, and I know that
Lisa: God has already promised me this is only the beginning. It's it could only be God, right? One thing I would say, state number one, is, you know, whatever you believe in. I believe in. You know Christ Jesus Lord as my Savior. So everything. I had to
Lisa: really, learn how to run to God when things got even when things got tough because, at first, I didn't. I didn't always run to God. So I'm confirmed that, hey? When things are tough. Run to God. Pray to God, even though you know you're still in that tunnel. It's dark. You do not see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's okay because I feel like while we worship God in our
Lisa:: distress. So when we know we are at our lowest of the lowest points, God truly gives us this hope, this joy that truly surpasses all understanding. It's like everything is going bad around you. But you have this faith, and you have this.
Lisa: peace of mind where it's like, okay. I can make it another day.
Lisa:: That's, and that's the power of God. That's the power and the beauty of God. This great! He is right. So for me. I would say again, you know your, your first point will be should be never to give up. I mean, there are so many things you would think. Oh, my God! You know the kids are running me crazy. You know I have all this depth. I have all this. But remember, go back to the Word of God and read through and through. You can. Even Google, you don't have to know.
Lisa:: The chapter is sometimes I don't even know. But I would say I'll go to Google and see what the chapter is about faith, hope, motivation, or something. What is that verse in the Bible? And believe me; God has been here before. I mean, this world will go and pass right, but God will always remain in His word, will always remain so. You will always find something to keep you uplifted. But your number one should never be to go, you know.
Lisa: hurt yourself, or you know, do things to yourself because you feel like you have no hope, no, as there is hope for living as long as you are living.
Lisa: Trust God, there is hope, and so I like, I said. I've been able to do it only because of God, only because I laid all my worries, all my my my head, heavy weights onto him. And so it was never. It was not always easy. It's still not easy, I mean, every single day. But guess what? We have a bigger God, so.
Lisa:: Man, I love that you wake up every day. Just tell yourself that today is going to be best. Today is going to be better than yesterday. God give me another chance in life. I'm going to thrive. And, you know, find resources. There are so many things online, and you know some good things. Pray for discernment. You have to pray to know. Okay, God leads me.
Lisa: and that's my prayer. And this has always been my prayer. Now it's like God. Put the right people in my path. I want people that will lead me closer to you. That will lead me to my go to my destination.
Lisa: I don't want to be. Let it straight, right? So
Lisa: once you you you stay that prayer every day, and that's it. God listens. He'll put the right people in front of you. And so yes, we'll be able to see. Okay, where do I go from here? What kind of job can I do now that will help me, or who, like? They say, Destiny helper! You have it somebody that comes
Lisa: and help you through your journey. So it's very important to really, truly connect with God and tell him everything. So yeah, it was an elaborate, yeah, that's amazing. So you, the part of God, are your fountain, your source.
Jeanine Banza: There is nothing else. And the good thing you see is one of the things you say that you mentioned. That pleases me. You do not have to have the, you know, like to know the memorized Bible you have just to Google. Now, we have there right in front of us tools that can help us, you know, when we feel, you know, hopeless, you know. Just go. And you know, you Google the word of God about faith, hope, and you. There you find it. And
Jeanine Banza: that's amazing. And I'm going back again to social media because now I know it's an I see I am seeing more and more young people just like you, and even younger, on social media, trying to share the Word of God, which is needed. You know it's needed, and it's a platform where we can reach people.
Jeanine Banza: So. so they I know more. And young people, even like we say, it's not. It's not a bad thing, you know. It's a good thing to share with. Of course, I'm not.
Jeanine Banza: advising people to spend their time there, to have a routine and, like in the daily time, to how to organize the day. And so, for someone there who likes me, I ask you, the advisor, how to grow on social media, right? Because I know my heart is burning with messages, you know I did mention children, ministry, youth, ministry, I shame my word, but I still wrote books, and I know.
Jeanine Banza: I don't know one only, and two people read my book. I know people. I want many people to read my book, so I was trying to tell you.
Jeanine Banza: To ask you. how
Jeanine Banza: do you? For someone who really likes me, a young person wants to grow their platform if they have a vision, you know, an idea for the kingdom to share the message of hope of Jesus Christ.
Jeanine Banza: How do you start? How do you grow? How do you sustain? I ask you? Because, you know, like I say. Even being a wife, a busy mother of 4, and a walking young woman.
Jeanine Banza: you know you, could you you you are doing these things. So how? What do you advise?
Lisa: Yeah, this is great.
Lisa: honestly, consistency is key
Lisa: with anything we do in life, especially, You know, when you want to grow, you have to be consistent, right? Because the people you, you present yourself as this person, and you want you to want an audience, right? You can give them something and then.
Lisa:: or come back, maybe 2, 3 weeks later. Oh, I have another thing, they will lose interest. They will go to whoever is, you know, able to give them what they want every single day. So you have to treat it like that. You have to be consistent. Consistency is key, and you know, obviously not losing yourself within that as well. But still, you know, having.
Lisa: time for yourself, your family, and things like that. So There! There are things such as pre-scheduled posts.
Lisa:: post where maybe you have, like, a day where you dedicate that day to social media. So you create as many posts as possible. If you take pictures, take as many pictures as possible, you, you edit, you work to them. So you give yourself time. You have to have balance. So you give yourself maybe 1, 2 days where you take care of all those social media stuff, and then.
Lisa:: schedule to post to have them posted throughout the week. So that way you don't. It's not like you do the work of creating content and posting content every day because that would train you to one day of social media where you dedicate that time, especially just for social media. So I remember I used to have some time when I
Lisa: wanted to shoot or take pictures. I would wake up super early the day before. Because I obviously have kids, I would ensure that the kids have something to eat. The kids are good, so the next day already spoke with my husband. So he would know, you know, on the weekend to take care of them, and then, I'll get ready to go where I need to be. So I again. I'll wake up super early, like 6, 7.
Lisa: Give me ready, get my make-up, everything like that, and then I will usually go to my friend's house, who, you know, we take pictures together, and so we would take those pictures all of that, and then I come home. Edit, do all of that. So throughout the week, I'll have the chance to like to post them.
Lisa:: you know, as I can. So that's one thing you can do and leverage your time. Very well, so that way you don't burn out because there's a thing there's such a thing as burning out where you it's like, it's like social media every single day. No.
Lisa: So you know, I think, for engaging again.
Jeanine Banza: This watches everything. Everything you just told me here is for me. You know I need to learn, especially when you say that I can pre-schedule my post instead of
Jeanine Banza: feeling that I have to wake up every day and put something. You know I am inspired. If I write every day. I have so many posts, but sometimes it's just hard for me to do. I think I will hire you as my coach; you know to me how to do these things. Funny, I'm serious. I wouldn't have to find time with you to sit with you, so you can show me how to do all these things.
Jeanine Banza: Wow! How amazing we were! We were going toward the end of this beautiful conversation with Lisa before we just left. What did you do? Which kind of a piece of advice?
Jeanine Banza: To a girl who is listening to us right now and who needs to accomplish something but feels stuck and discouraged.
Lisa: So a piece of advice that's that's great. I would say.
Lisa: You know. Put God first, and the second will be determined.
Lisa:: You have to be determined. You know. Draw out your pictures, or put the things that you would want to achieve
Lisa: and look, I was holding you back
Lisa:: and compare and contrast like, okay, is this worth it? Do you know what is holding me back? So whatever it is that is holding you back from achieving your dreams. Drop it.
Lisa: It's still determined. I keep pushing, you know, every day it's not going to be roses, and it's not going to be beautiful all the time. Right? There are going to be rainy days. There's going to be some.
Lisa: you must ensure you have the appropriate tire for each weather type. So keep pushing, I would say, keep pushing, stay determined, and most importantly, put God in the center of everything you do so if you feel discouraged. Yes, it's normal to feel discouraged. But what's not good? It's it's
Lisa: staying in that discouragement. That's what the depression is. So you have to, even if you feel sad; God knows we are human. We're going to feel sad. We're going to feel yeah. But in that midst, call out to God.
Lisa:: and don't stay there, do something that's gonna make you happy, do something that you're gonna feel fulfilled that you did something, and it's gonna release you from all that pain or depression, or anything like that. So don't just remain or do well in that state of discouragement or anything. So that'll be my piece of advice. Yeah. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
Jeanine Banza: Do you have where you are? I want it just to tell you to let the audience know where they can follow you, your Instagram Page and your Youtube. And after that, would you please pray for the people who listen to us? So this message of hope can really resonate with them.
Jeanine Banza: And yes, yes, so they can refer to God and to Jesus.
Lisa: And yes, that was the last thing I wanted to say. Sure, sure! Thank you. So, where can you find me? I'm at Lisa officially, live.
Lisa: on Instagram and Youtube.
Lisa: And so, yeah, you can find me on that platform again. I have to practice what I preach, right? I'm not very consistent with God. Yeah, it's in the struggle. But yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and pray. so
Jeanine Banza: thank you for this moment. This was a beautiful moment.
Lisa: You knew of this moment before we even thought of this, and that's the beauty of you all. God. We thank you for making this time at one time, and I pray that whoever
Lisa:: whoever is listening to us right now, Lord, that you would touch their hearts, you would touch their mind, their soul, their body. Lord, yes, so confirm what you want them to do and show them what it is that you want them to do. Oh, God! Lord! I know that so many things are going on right now in the world.
Lisa:: Well, God, we put our faith and hope in you what we know that you will provide an order. We are not ashamed of the gospel. We are not ashamed of who we are. We are yours, oh, God! And you said in your word that you will never leave us no forsakers. So whoever is filling up bending right now, I
Lisa:: find God that you will search God, and you will find Him because he said that we search, search and find the Lord. We will find Him anytime, anywhere. Just call out to Him, and he will make himself available for you. So I pray, and I believe God that this podcast will go far in the mighty name of Jesus West. We thank you, love you in Jesus's name, and pray, Amen.
Jeanine Banza: Hey, may thank you. Thank you. Oh, my gosh, how beautiful prayer! Thank you so much.
Lisa:: Thank you. Hmm.
