We got an overwhelming response to our first podcast on Religion, and are so grateful to this community for rallying behind us as we share this incredibly vulnerable piece of our lives. Because of that response, we wanted to share more thoughts we have on religion and specifically if we think it's possible to have a positive spiritual community. You might already know our friends, Eamon and Bec from their many appearances on our YouTube channel, and if you have, you probably know they also have a YouTube channel and live in a van. But did you know they're the owners of a successful tea company? They've been at the small business game for more than three years now, so we wanted them to share why they started their company, the ups and downs of running a small business over the past years, and the things that they've learned.

Today, we’re chatting with our friend Chase Hilt who is a producer on Good Mythical Morning, one of the most successful and long-lasting Youtube channels. Since he studied traditional film in university but now works in a very untraditional space, we wanted to discuss his experience with new media vs. old media.

Being your own boss can be incredibly stressful. Today, we sat down with fellow vanlifers Trent and Allie who have recently gotten a lot of momentum on Youtube. At the time of this recording, Allie is still employed full time but works remotely, and they are currently faced with the hard decision of when is the right time to jump ship and focus all of their energy on their personal brand.

Today we decided to dive into some of the questions and insecurities that have been on both of our minds regarding how being self employed and working together is shifting gender roles within our marriage. This episode was brought on by a panic attack that Christian had last night that was indirectly triggered by the lack of stability that we have currently and how that is effecting how he views his role as a husband and as a man. This one is a bit more serious so SORRY EVERYBODY but it is a topic that we are excited to be able to weigh in on.

Today, we sat down with our friends, Colin & Samir who have built two successful YouTube channels, to talk about their first one, The Lacrosse Network. Against all odds, they built the biggest Lacrosse media outlet and collaborated with brands like Nike, Reebok, and more (far before influencer marketing was an industry standard). Their story is one for the books, and we know you'll leave this episode pumping your fist and ready to get out there and achieve your crazy goals!

We're addicted... to working. Literally, we can't stop. So, after talking through the impact that the internet is having on our work/life balance as a generation, we made boundaries for ourselves.

After being on social media for a large portion of our lives, we wanted to reflect on if the anxiety we sometimes feel is caused by social media. We also discuss the fact that we've been a target for some negativity in the van life community and how that's affected us mentally and emotionally.
