Mu’adh bin Jabal was one of the closest companions to Prophet Muhammad (saw) and throughout the prophetic biography and the books of hadith we see that relationship come to life. One day, after years of mentorship and friendship, Rasulullah trusted Mu’adh enough to send him to Yemen, where he would be in the minority, and asked him to bring the region into the fold of Islam. He did exactly that! Minority Muslim communities around the world have so much to learn from the example that great companion.
